I'll stamp all over 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize next month's bout.

Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
